Is this iteration just the first of many?:

Another option is the Handel lower which allow use of any KAC/DPMS pattern magazine.

For 420.00 you could get 6 of those mags at 70.00 ea or the lower and 6 P-Mags.

IMO the ability to use the more readily available mags would make more sense.

They look really long for 20 round magazines. With the availability of FN magazines now, and the design of lowers that take commonly available cheap magazines, this product just doesn't interest me. If it were a 25 or 30 round magazine for that price, I may consider it.

You're kidding me. $70?!

I thought these would be a welcome alternative to the rare factory SCAR mags. I'm paying approximately $45-$60 each right now, and when supply is high, factory mags go for as low as $30.

$70 for a mag with a yet-to-be-proven track record is too steep. Good luck to Molon-Labe industries, but I'll probably keep shopping for OEM mags.

An 8 page thread on this very topic found here:

While i wish them success with the new venture, I'll stick with factory mags until there's alot range time validating their reliability. I'll let others Beta test.

If you research these mags on fnf you'll see that they will be significantly less than $70 and even cheaper than the ~$40 factory mags are running. I imagine they'll come out around $30

So the vendor infers yet the price is still up on his website and he won't commit a number to his lower inferred price. He's been asked for a price multiple times and danced around it.

Not for me.

I'm almost squared away on mags so I'm not really worried. Unfortunately in the scar mag market he can get away with it.

I bought a polymer scar17 mag from stryker enterprises for $25. Haven't tried it out yet and don't know who made it.

I forgot I had a backorder on Midway for 5 scar17 magazines and they arrived the other day. I'm flush with mags now. Scared to count them.

If you need to thin the herd let me know.

Was it a thermold?

You got me curious so I just counted 21 fn scar17 mags. Since it's my favorite rifle I'm hanging on to all of them for now.

No manufacturer markings on the polymer mag that I can find.
It says patent no. 4139959 which a search reveals is attached to thermold. Loading it up now.

https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=114199Hopefully today if I can stand the cold. I put a new adm delta mount on and need to sight it in again.
Also need to sight in the SW 5.45 upper I bought on here and my ddv5 that I changed optics on.

It's not even 30 degrees out though. Supposed to warm up later in the week.

Also to add I had stryker throw it in with an order of 5 fn mags as a $25 experiment, and I will admit I had been drinking at the time.

Sorry, forgot the pics. I sighted in the scar17 using the thermold mag today. Shot a full mag. It was hard to put in but it didn't fall out.

That's only one mag load though.
