Went to the Gulf.Coast Pistol and Rifle Club for the monthly 3 gun match today and met a real hero.
I am an ex 11B (Infrantryman) Army, but was extremely impressed by a man I met today. Everyone was shaking hands and saying hello before the first rounds were sent downrange today. One guy on my squad introduced himself as Mo.
Me being prior .mil I asked automatically what his MOS was. He said he was an active duty SEAL.
I was honored to be shooting with someone of this caliber. Well at the end of the day I did beat him but I will say this. On the shoot and move portions of every stage I've never seen anyone move with such efficiency and smoothness as him.
Not to mention that even before I knew his vocation there was something about him that drew him away from the crowd. A great guy to chat with (he is a big fan of the Mk18 with RIS 2) and just an outstanding man.
