I will be attending SDM school in June, 2013. A soldier in my unit who attended in 2006 told me most of it was done using M16A4 back then.
He said they used rack grade A4's so nothing special in handguard or bipod.
Anyone here attend more recently?

for some good old iron/A2 stock/stock trigger time ahead of the class.
Or, do you recommend going in as a sponge and don't pre-train with bad habits?
