That's impressive considering he said most of the ammo was at a power factor of 180. No easy ride.

A quality built and properly set up 1911 is very durable. I have 2 high round count 1911s, a Colt built by Novaks and a Colt built by SDM, and my experience mirrors the results of the Wilson owner.

Impressive. Looking forward to many more thousands of rounds with my Wilson CQB-E.
Though, I find a thread that links to another thread that links to Facebook a little frustrating.
God if only I could afford nearly that much ammo.. looks gorgeous even still at 100k

Breach face looks good as does the vertical impact surface on the frame which helps with barrel life. A lot of life left in this one.

I'm surprised at how durable that bowtie cut is. Thought it would get beat down by the barrel lugs eventually.

When good parts are used, and the guns is properly fitted and then properly maintained a 1911 will run a very long time. :)

That is pretty impressive. The only pistol I have ever regretted selling was a Wilson CQB. That pistol ran so well. Shot everything I fed it. Extremely accurate. A true delight to shoot. Someday I will have another one.

Although it will probably be almost another 20 years before I hit 100K on mine, this makes me very happy that I own a wilson protector!

That's pretty impressive!
Most incredable but then Wilson cCombad builds an incredible product. Buy once cry once comes to mind!.
After wasting hundreds/thousands on lesser 1911s years ago & having issues, I bought my first WC. 3 WCs later, they're the only 1911s I buy now. I do kinda have a hankerin' for an STI though!
