New excellent Custom Dickison Forge Tomahawk. Hawk is very well balanced & throws easily. Highly functional & as real & good as they get.

This HAWK was forged from 26 oz. Ball Pein hammer and it was oil hardened and tempered to a dark straw to hold a good edge. The cutting edge is just under 3'' and from handle to cutting edge is 5'' and 3.5'' to end of spike w/ total edge to spike length of 10". The head has the shape and file work of Hawks from the 19th century and was acid etched and patina added to give old world charm. The handle is eastern Tiger Maple lightly scorched, stained with aqua fortis and hand polished and sealed with bees wax. handle is 20 1/4'' long and is highly figured. This hawk has superb balance and feel and would make a good addition to any collection be it for show or work. www.dickisonforge.com
