For the few of you who owns a PPQ, do you know of anybody that make LEATHER holsters for the gun? Not looking for kydex.

A related question would be, will the PPQ fit into a LEATHER holster made for the Walther P99?

High Noon makes leather holsters for the PPQ. I would also bounce an email to Tim Thurner of TT Gunleather, either he or his father's company (Occidental) more than likely support the PPQ as well.

I use an OLD Blackhawk leather p99 iwb only holster for my ppq. Fits perfect but that isn't always the case From what I hear..

I picked up a DeSantis Speed Scabbard from Amazon. I've been very impressed with its fit and comfort, especially for a $52 holster that doesn't have a 19 week waiting period.

This should help:

I'm currently using a Galco IWB holster for an H&K P2000, and it fits like it was made for it.

It's good to know that your gun fits the P2000 holster. How snug is it?

I used a Occidental Leather Stronghold Phoenix designed by TT gun leather owner Tim Thurner for a HK45 and a p2000sk for a good long while. They are spendy but you don't wait forever and it is a solid product.

They list the PPQ as available.

It fit just as well as the P2000 I slid in it.

IMO, it could have been labeled a PPQ holster and sold as such. I bought this one for my P99 back before the PPQ was released, back before there were this many holster options available for Walther's polymer pistols, and back before anyone cared to make a non-custom holster for a lefty.

It has more wear on it now than when I took that picture. The pistol slides in and out more easily now, but it still holds the pistol snug enough so that it won't slide out if the holster is held upside down and shaken with two fingers. Even more when a belt is tightened against it.

I was able to convince Ray at Lobo Gunleather to make one for me. I love the pancake and IWB holsters he made for my model 65 - 3". He was reluctant to try to make one since he didn't have a model for the PPQ but after some arm twisting and begging, he did some research and will make one based on the Walter P99 and HK P2000.

I will post pictures and report when I get the holster in 5-6 weeks.

I was about to give up and order the Desantis. I had the Speed Scabbard like the one in the picture above for a Glock 19 and found that it was uncomfortable for me. The way the back of the holster is made along with the belt slots, it tends to bind and tighten when worn on the belt, making the draw awkward and sticky. Ray form his pancake holsters into a curve so the draw is not hindered when the holster is worn on the belt/waist. His price is very reasonable and wait time is too. I do believe that once the word is out on the quality of his products, his wait will get longer and the price will go up accordingly.

Holster arrived today. Like the two other revolver holsters he made for me, Ray did a great job. The pancake holster is formed with a curve to match the contour of the wearer's body and the holster is molded hard. There is no breaking in period nor do I need to stretch the holster to fit my PPQ.
