Any chance Magpul will be making an iPhone 5 case?
I emailed them the week after it released, and the answer I received was essentially: "It's definitely something we're interested in making. Stand by"
Granted, that was a couple months ago.
I figured that I would get a "probably maybe" type answer from them.
I really like the low profile of the case. Not because I am a Magpul fanboy, I just think that it is a slim and rugged case.
I keep the phone in my breast pocket when I'm at work and this case seems to be the best of both worlds.

I put a case on it that will work for now, but I will have the magpul case as soon as it is available.
Is there any change to the case to prevent the oily substance it left on the iPhone 4?

There will be a few improvements in the coming generation, one of which will be a new material that has improved properties WRT stretch and leaching. Another will be improved camera/flash window geometry to get rid of "color bleed" when taking flash photos.
That is very good news. Can you comment on color options and or availability at this time ?

That's a 4 case. The flash on the back of my 5 doesn't look like that. I hope. :D
I loved my iPhone 4 Executive case. It took a handful of swan dives onto the concrete and never had an issue. I have a temporary case now with InvisibleShield HD screen protector.
I hope they release it soon. I know what I have now will not save my phone if it shoots off my lap when getting out of my Suburban.
Apparently nothing in the future for a Magpul iPad case, just iPhones.

Seriously though, of course they will. Lots of companies make hardware that'll run android. Only apple makes apple hardware to run iOS.

They are available only thru retailers, not direct! So you will have to contact your local retailer and have them order one! As far as I know there is no Executive Field Case for the iPhone 5 this year!

I understand wanting to take care of your vendors Magpul, BUT, I'm about to give up on you and switch back to something at the Apple store. This "vendor only release" limited supply looks like it has just benefited a scalper more than anyone. I LOVE your case, but I'm not spending 35 bucks for it. If the profit was going towards your Colorado cause, perhaps, but not to line a third party pocket.

I've had the first generation, 4, and now the 5. The only difference between the first and the 5, is resolution, quicker internet speeds and signal, and camera pixels.
Other than that, it's a great conversation piece to use with the girls.

I managed to snatch one up from DSG after reading the post that they had black ones in stock. I'm diggin' it so far. It offers a more than reasonable degree of protection, without turning my iPhone5 into a 90s Zach Morris cell phone like the the otterbox defender that I had before did.

Is there a running adapter to secure it to your arm? Or is there something out there that allows the 5 to remain in the case and be able to be taken in and out of the arm band with relative ease?

Agreed. Was trying to think of eight additional colors they could use that'd be worth the manufacturing effort and couldn't without going more tactical such as camo.
When I teach a class, I put my phone next to my Medical instruction binder and my GSW trauma kit. The binder and kit are orange and when I had my $s I had an orange case on it. I will pick up an orange one when they come out.

Got my iphone 5 field case last week, its been on ever since, it replaced my otterbox, That thing just gets dirt in there everywhere! Even though this one is just a slide on case, its near perfect for me. I really do like the pmag look of this case! Good job Magpul!!
I grabbed an orange one too, it's great for pocket carry. The Otterbox one is just too massive to do anything but carry it on the belt.
The port on the bottom is pretty snug so an aftermarket (RND) brand charging cable didn't initially fit. A little trimming with a blade and all is right in the world again.
