Just out of random curiosity, how many rounds does one usually get per 1lb. jar of powder? I know there's several variables that will have a factor on the outcome, but an around-a-bout number?

there are 7000 grains in a pound do the math for an average load for the round you want to shoot.

Google reloading calculator or if you have a smart phone you can get an app that Will calculate the number of rounds per pound.

If your load is 5 grains you get 1400, and if your using 25 grains you Will get 280.

There are a lot of online calculators. If you go to jbm ballistics they have a bunch of calculators along with almost anything you could need for making ballistic calculations.
