I am planning a Fallen Hero Tribute shoot on May 17 at Everett Sportsmen Club. We are not taking it too seriously competition wise, we just want it to be a fun shoot to honor those who have died in service of this country.
The only weapon requirements are that it has to have been at one time a US Military rifle, or variant thereof. Anything from a M1903 Springfield to an AR-15 or even a semi-auto (being that it is WA) M60 if you want. Secondly, it has to be iron sights only, no optics of any kind.
