I normally hang-out around Surplus Rifle (C&R collecting).
Was researching the Troy 5.56 Carbine and saw this was where the party was at, lots of good info. Decided to join-up.
The Troy is only my 2nd AR.
Also all of my rifles/carbines have been iron-sights only, was reading around on here about scopes and optics, wanted to try that out. No particular "tactical" need or goal in mind, just something to experiment with as part of the hobby.
Lately my focus has been Rimfire competitions, but I shoot a bit of center-fire pistol and rifle occasionally at the range, usually just punching paper.
Good site here, I'll be reading alot and posting little.
