Tips for installing PRI latch??

Hey guys,

Just got some parts from Grant to include a PRI latch and wondered what the best way to install this part is, and if you guys have any tips to make the job easier/quicker.

It's seems like you just drive the roll pin out, capture the spring, swap the latch, and drive in the new pin. But I'm guessing that spring likes to make a little run for freedom, or other such things.

I appreciate any tips!

Drive out the roll pin with the appropriate roll Pin Punch on a Delrin Block....
You are correct about the spring/latch...

I saw a post here on this forum that illustrated when reinserting the roll Pin start it and use a pair of Robo/Vise Grips with Duck Tape on the teeth OR I use those little plastic covers.

Press it in (or rather squeeze) and finish it off with the appropriate roll pin punch & Delrin Block.
