Does anyone have any experience with this upper?

I am curious as to how it shoots / groups.. and does anyone know what kind of lead times they would have now? Probably forever? :)

Haven't had a chance to shoot mine yet, waiting on optic and a couple other things, but Monty got my Recce out to me within a week. As far as I know he's still active duty so I might have got lucky on my lead time. But Monty and his wife are a class act and great to deal with! Drop him an email

The one I was looking at is $975, that one is upgraded with some extras.

I'd add that the caveat is they're very difficult uppers to leave alone - mine shoots really well, but I decided to run a 14" DD Lite rail on it (which is amazing), and I'm saving to upgrade optics on it already.

Ive got a nightforce 2.5-10 in a larue mount and im thinking of getting a hornady reloading press- this upper would be the logical pairing for those others

I ordered a Recce upper from them and it was ready in a little longer than a week or so and got the confirmation Monday. I have been waiting and saving two years, gone back and forth between the DMR and Recce, and settled on the Recce as they share the same barrel, just shortened. I have a 900 yard range and look forward to cracking 500 with this rifle and seeing the results. Everything I've read and have researched has led me to this barrel/upper/rail combo.

I was surprised at how fast the upper was ready as the website said there was a ten week wait, but I'm not complaining!!!

You will love this gun. Got mine finished up and zeroed it last weekend.

Centurian Recce upper
Leupold MK4 2.5-8 W/MK262 turret
Dueck defense 45' BUIS
LMT lower, Geissele SD-E
Magpul ACS
Harris/Larue bipod

Zeroed at 100yrds, spent the rest of the day ringing steel at 5-600yrds
This setup is amazingly accurate and just stupid fun!
I've got another 200rnds of Black Hills 77gr on its way to me now, wish it wasn't so expensive..

I'm very pleased with mine. I picked it up when he was offering it with the VIS 3 upgrade. With varying handloads, I've managed between .4 and .6 MOA.
