Colt 6520 the best thing about the Omega rail, I didn't have to disassemble the gun (which has a little collector status to me at least).

Does the friend want to sell the OEM stock?

I love those little stocks.

Want to swap on a stubby VFG (preferably in tan), Aimpoint M4, Vickers tan sling and shoot the whole thing with krylon.

Those KAC panels fit okay?

Have you tried Tangodown by chance?

They fit fine. All of the panels I've tried so far are nice and tight.

Haven't tried the TD panels yet. Can't imagine why they wouldn't work. I'll be trying some out shortly as it'll fatten up the sides a bit to get the feel back a bit more to what I'm used to.

The DD Omega is a nice and slim rail. I noticed after some moderate use that the 4 set screws on my Omega had loosened up quite a bit. I had snugged them down real good initially. Even though the directions don't mention it, I suggest using some blue Loctite on the set screws to avoid this problem. I have since switched the Omega out for an RAS. I might be in the minority but I prefer the RAS over the Omega. YMMV

Why? esthetics, stability, functionality?? I just ordered my DD and would like to know why you swapped out. Thanks, and anymore pics out there?

I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't use loctite on rail parts, but yes, its obviously a good idea.

Here are a couple of pictures of the DD Omega on a Noveske N4 basic that been modified a little.
