When I first saw it, I thought someone had obviously stolen my idea- A simple stamped steel carbine that runs on STANAG mags that is reliable, accurate, and CHEAP at the expense of ergos, finishing, and aesthetics.

Kind of like an AR-18 with standard rails or the MAC version of an AR.

With an MSRP of $959 I'm NOT at all interested, unless they can cut that in half.

Still, as they say, more options are good...

I'm curious to see how this works out for MPA.

Looks like a new iteration of the Australian Leader rifle, which was also AR18 based.

Looks ALOT like a Sig 556 with a side-charger fitted.

Interesting. Too expenive for me to find any reason to own it though. At a $500 price point I'd buy it for a beater gun, ~$1k no thanks. I could get another quality AR or AK for that MSRP.

I am sure, however, that some will see enough value in the left side charge handle to give it a shot (no pun intended).

I'd like to see one in person. I'm also curious how street price compares with MSRP. As long as the weight isn't too heavy and the steel has a corrosion resistant finish there is a lot of interesting features there. Quality is a big question mark.

The safety/selector is backwards from an AR. That's going to hurt it a bit right there. Plus, the mag well is pretty short. I'm curious how much the mags will wobble/rock in there.

And at an MSRP of nearly $1K, why not just get a 6920?

In the end, it's a neat idea, but I don't see what it does that a proper carbine won't do. Maybe at $500, I'd be tempted to get one as a truck gun, but not at $950.
