From what I can gather it is a 2t, and I doubt it is the plus package. Stag's website does not give a great deal of info, and "the chart" is gone. 5.56 chamber (good), 1:9 twist (bummer), Chrome lined (what flavor?). The only thing that appears to be worth a darn is the Samson quad rail and the ARMS Rear BUIS.
Unfortunately he got taken for a ride when he bought it, and also walked out the door with a Truglo red dot, Promag forward grip, Blackhawk 3pt universal sling, and a couple spare 30rnd mags that are not Magpul (don't know what brand they are). I would have thought that after a year in the National Guard, he would know better, and that the PX where he bought it would not foist this kind of crap on the Mil service members. I will do what I can to get rid of that crap.
Gas key, Castle nut, possible iffy safety function, possible barrel nut torque - what else do I need to look for?
