I absolutely love this PPQ. It is a great shooter! The one thing I have a question about is, do your PPQ's have this ring in the barrel?

The reason I ask is because it is leaving this ring on my brass, that you can actually feel in the brass on all ejected pieces. I resized a few pieces and it doesn't come out.

Am I over thinking/worrying about this? Since I reload I want to get the most out of my brass, yet have never seen this before from other manufactures.

Yes.

Sometime around 2008, Walther started using stepped chambers on all of their 9mm pistols.

Thanks for the quick response!
Has anyone seen issues with brass life due to the "stepped barrel"?

I haven't... I got a PPQ, and a HK P-2000 both have the same style of chamber,Also shot the same brass through my Glock. I haven't noticed anything unusual about the brass life, They resize fine, and I've had no problems, Throw'em in the tumbler, clean'em up and load away...You'll be fine..
