All of this negative publicity has only had a modest bump on public opinion.

Well, that is good news....but then again we are still living under Obamacare despite public objection.

We have a Republican House now but did not then. I suggest we use them.

Hopefully enough of them are willing to stand up to Obama, even while being called baby killers daily in the MSM.

Firearm restrictions are not the only concerns I have about the health of the U.S. The Republicans need to stand tall and resist the onslaught of socialist changes that Obama and the liberals want to impose on tax payers. They also need to lead the charge and reduce the size of Federal government to save tax dollars.

Tax payers do not want more, but less Federal regulations in almost every aspect of their lives. Unnecessary restrictions on firearm ownership is a very important issue, but not the only critical issue on the radar scope.

The problem with the liberal media is that they can create whatever b.s. poll numbers and pass it off as if everyone except the wingnuts are in favor of it. Those are the "facts" that get passed along to the masses, since most don't delve into the real numbers or look to other sources.

There was precious little support of socialized medicine either, as I recall. How has that worked itself out?

As I already addressed up the thread:

Even the media is reporting it less and less every day.

As to obamacare, before he was reelected there was only 40% wanting it repealed and that is slowly declining, I hate to say it but alot of Americans did want health care reform, Obama offered it.

These will be the figures The O acts on.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/general_politics/december_2012/55_favor_assault_weapons_ban_but_62_oppose_complete_gun_ban

But he will use these figures to raise taxes - -which will take a lot longer. So the root cause of violence will be after your guns are controlled.

But Barry said that "the vast majority" of people were for gun bans...........surly he didn't lie or pull that factual number out of his ass
