I've just picked up a new saber defense upper 16 inch Carbine,I've got a ton of 55 grain Blitzkings that I love hammering groundhogs with in the summer out of my 20 inch 1 in 8.. 20 Varminter. Will these projectiles work in a 1 in 7 ?
or am I better off going with a heavy projectile?
I can't wait till spring and the hogs start popping up!

55 gr ammo shoots just fine in a 1/7.

I am not a precision shooter, but I only own 1:7 twist 5.56 ARs (and "pencil" barrels to boot), and I have never had a problem hitting an 8" steel gong at 200 yards with any of the ammo I've used in them.

I heard that if you shoot a 55 gr in a 1/7 it will over spin the bullet. Then the jacket will fly off and could hit a satelite and knock it out of the sky! :(

In that case we can bring down all the faulty spy satellites down. :D
