I had this one up for sale a while back, but with everyone using up their cash on rifles and magazines, I didn't get any interest. So, here it is again.
This is a Sig P229 in .40S&W with a year of manufacture of 1998. I bought it as a police trade-in a few years ago. Cosmetically it has some wear here and there, but mechanically it is in good shape. At some point, I guess the previous officer/dept refinished the slide with a coat of black Gunkote. I've put about 1000rds through this P229 with only one stove-pipe due to being shot weak hand with a limp wrist. The bore is in excellent condition, and accuracy is on par with any newer condition P229 .40. An excellent shooting pistol overall. A refinish would make the pistol seem new. It has new Heinie straight-eight night sights installed on it. The pistol comes with the factory grey case, instruction manual, and two factory 12-round magazines. I want $475 for this P229, and I will ship for free from FFL to FFL in the lower 48 states.
