Tactical Solutions .22 1911 Slides

TACSOL has just released their new dedicated .22 1911 slides! These are some of the best .22 1911 slides we have ever seen.

We ordered ours with their combo rail (accepts both Picatinny and Weaver mounts), red fiber optic front sight and STI adjustable rear sight. The barrels are also threaded for your favorite can.

The main weakness with dedicated .22 1911 slides has always been the mag. Many companies use the Colt mag. This is less than ideal and made the platform problematic. TACSOL has fixed this by coming up with their own mags. They are the most robust, solid mags I have ever seen.

I love their Ruger MkII uppers. I have one and bought another as a gift. I hope the 1911 uppers are as good or better.

That's a really nice setup. What type of ammo do you shoot through yours and does it make a difference with the suppressor?

I have the Kimber conversion kit and it won't function very well on bulk ammo. It will only shoot the high dollar, high velocity stuff otherwise it jams once or twice a mag. Kinda defeats the low cost factor.
I understand that there is a spring kit out to make it shoot the low velocity ammo.

I generally only shoot LR ammo with a copper coated bullet. The CCI Min-Mags are my current favorite.

That price is for the entry level mode. The model shown is the high end model.

CCI Mini Mags are $6 a box around here, I guess there is some savings but not a lot. The fun factor is definitely high.

You can use ANY ammo you want. The copper coated bullets work well with cans. That is why I use them.
