If people are going to post their letters to their elected officials, could you maybe just pick an existing thread encouraging you to write them and post it there? There seems to be little need to start a new GD thread for these letters. Posting additional content about the need to write, need to be involved, etc etc also likely has an existing thread already.
Perhaps there could be an official "I wrote my congresscritter" thread, where the existing could be merged?
While I'm all for the RKBA and 2A activism, the recent stream of threads is getting to be horribly redundant.
