It's a receipt from a convenience store...the purchaser made a $3.28 purchase and has over $7,000.00 balance on their food stamps...

I just checked my EBT SNAP account and the balance rolls over every month. So it would take some months for that to accrue. Or 25 people in the house.
Maybe one of us should get one of these and see if Grant or BCM would take EBT cards.

Rudy Giuliani cited Cloward and Piven by name as being responsible for "an effort at economic sabotage." He also credited Cloward-Piven with changing the cultural attitude toward welfare from that of a temporary expedient to a lifetime entitlement, an attitude which in-and-of-itself has caused perhaps the greatest damage of all.
Cloward and Piven looked at this strategy as a gold mine of opportunity. Within the newly organized groups, each offensive would find an ample pool of foot soldier recruits willing to advance its radical agenda at little or no pay, and expand its base of reliable voters, legal or otherwise. If I were in charge, voting eligibility would be stayed upon acceptance of SNAP or any other government welfare program. Termination of participation in said program would result in reinstatement of voting eligibility.
