Is anyone using an Aimpoint T-1 on standard 16" barreled M4? How does the T-1 compare to the CompM2/M3? Any reason to go with one of those over this sight other than cost?

Small and lightweight come to mind. I have a T1 with a LaRue mount on my 10" LMT. It's very nice.

what gotm4 said. love the T-1. it's hard to find anything wrong with it, except the the inability to accept flip-open covers IMHO. (i've seen the GG&G solution - don't like the added bulk). by far my favourite red dot.

My T-1 normally resides on my 10.5" LMT, but I did try it on a 16" carbine and it was just as great. Even if I didn't have an SBR, the T-1 would still be my red dot of choice. It fully converted me from EOTechs to Aimpoints. :)
