CMT/Stag makes rifles w/M4 ramps but S&W didn't spec their M&P15 to have them.

Please correct me where I am wrong, the only (for sale to the public) Stag uppers that EVER had M4 barrel extension and M4 cuts in the receiver was their limited edition 14.5" M4 (which they are no longer making).

I think you're right. I bought one from you not too long ago. CMT is capable of making them if requested is what I should have said. S&W didn't see a need thus extra cost in having them. I think you sell CMT upper receivers either way.

Perhaps the fact that S&W did not spec. M4 ramps and a 1/7" twist is indicitave of a target market other than Military and Police ("M&P").

I read somewhere that S&W will be adding M4 feedramps and 1:7 twist barrels, does anyone know if they'll be doing this for '07?

The S&W M&P15PC may have them. It has a billet upper and lower receiver (looks suspiciously like a Sun Devil lower and upper kinda like a VLTOR) and a 1x8 twist stainless barrel.
