anyone know if there is a shortage of this light? i ordered one of these lights via 3point5.com on the 28th of december and my order is still processing and it says not to contact surefire til the 28th of this month. just wondering if this 'scare' made these flash lights go on back order or what.

Why don't you look around other dealer websites and see if they have any in stock?
I have seen oodles at local FFLs, cant imagine there is a shortage of these now too. Curious to see what you find.

Most shops are featuring the X300-Ultra model. The 170Lumen units are still quite abundant - even turning up second hand for really good prices on this EE about every other day.
3point five is a retail marketing interface that gives you discounts on some products related to your business. they are not a seller, per se...
understand this is going to add a link, or three, to the supply chain so it pays to be patient if the discount is enough to make it worth your while.
