on another board i had an individual offer me $1700 for my 107f and 400 rounds of steel core(real stuff).
im mainly an ar guy and am setup for ar's and reloading ar's.
i bought it when it was cheap.
the current climate has everything elevated in price.
i bought it just to have an ak but now the price seems good.
sell it and the ammo for 1700????

I dont know if I would want to give up a gun right now. I would consider trading it for an AR though.

I also have an AK, just to have one. I only paid 250$ for it new, I am sure I could sell it for twice that now, but then I wouldn't have an AK, even if I cant remember the last time I shot it.

Investor, this is a simple conversation. If there is no ban, this is a good time to sell. If there is a ban which precludes you from selling, this is a good time to sell. If there is a ban like 94, wait.

Collector, It is different than the rest of you collection but goes along with your collection, it is interesting, keep it.

Shooter and SHTF, I love the AR for what it is. I love the AK for what it is. The AK will never be an AR and an AR will never be an AK. That is why I have BOTH.

As far as price, I think it is a little low in today's panic.

I personally would keep it as well, especially since the SLR 107 is such a nice example of the AK platform.

Agreed, you aren't sitting on a WASR; the Bulgarian AK's are some of the finest.

However, NOW is about as good a time as you will find to sell; WASR's in my AO are consistently fetching 1K - when they were a $450 rifle a few months ago. :jester:

I think you'll find a good market for selling those 400 rounds separately with some AK purists.

In the current climate I would keep it, it's to the AK-103 what the 6920 is to the M4. Imported rifles such as these will be the first to see the chopping block if Barry goes the EO route. There has been some thing put into writing with the pending ban that states "no new manufactured assault weapons" IF a new AWB is passed there won't be anymore period.
