Need someone to tell me what I have here.

Upper:

Barrel:

Carrier:

I did some research, and it looks like I have a C7 upper? The only marking is the Anchor Harvey forge mark.

I have no idea who made the barrel, carrier looks like a Colt SP1 - there is a "C" stamped in the left side.

I originally wanted to put together a 603 clone, but apparently I have the wrong receiver because of the shell deflector.

No big deal, I can sell this upper and buy the right one.

Do I have the correct barrel and carrier for a 603 clone?

I'm not sure if the sight base on a 603 is smooth or if it has forging flash, please advise.

Thanks!

You have an A1E1 upper. Great find IMHO. is this brand new/unused?
I did a quick search on the CAGE code on your barrel and found that it is a "General Dynamics Armament Systems Inc." barrel, supposedly "produced in the mid-late 70's for Anniston Army Depot".
Im not well versed on the intricacies and parts-accuracy requirements of clone builds but I think for what you want, you'll have to find Colt parts -- Barrel, A1 upper, and bolt. Maybe even colt furniture if you can find them. That said, you seem to have scored good parts in very good, if not, out of the box condition so if you're not too concerned about getting every last detail right, I would go ahead and build it as close as you can with those parts.
ETA: I re-read your post and it appears you are out to be as accurate as possible. You may want to check out the links in the sticky below:

Thanks for the info!

I found a place called Apex that has original Colt A1 uppers in stock and I am ordering one.

Now I just need a flat delta ring and an A1 birdcage and I'm pretty much set, I picked up a nice A1 stock with storage yesterday for $40!

A Colt Canada upper will have a Diemaco marking on it, near the forge marking so I don't think it is a Canadian upper.

So I guess it's not a C7 upper then?

I don't know the history, I received it in trade with some other misc. stuff.

What other rifles had an A1 sight, teardrop forward assist and also had a shell deflector?

Just curious.
