No. I'm saying it is impossible to verify authenticity, because even if a retired SEAL team 6 operator is selling it, you'd never be able to verify that he was on that particular mission with that particular optic.

Maybe if he posed for a picture with corpse bin laden, wearing his full kit, weapon visible, with a unique mark or scratch on the optic . . . . like that would ever see the light of day

Just giving it a quick glance I would say the following are good indicators:
1. Aimpoint on top of sight
2. No Intensity marking on battery cap
3. Intensity numbers are 90 degrees off from every other micro I've seen

All T1s front glass looks greenish if I'm not mistaken. Haven't looked at a 2 moa one. And the adjustment caps aren't recessed into the body as much as an authentic one either(from what I could see)

It's like Where's Waldo....another thing that makes my spidey sense tingle is the lack of side profile, i.e. where the model and serial number are listed.

Why not? There are other members on this forum who have done the same on Gun Broker (non-paying buyers)...ask me how I know.

BTW, I really don't get all the complaints folks have. It is, at least right now and today, still a capitalist nation...supply and demand...you know, all those quaint old theories of the market place before we started down the socialist track.
