I propose that anyone running for public office should get mentally evaluated. The Lady is insane.

This is why elected officials need armed security details, the overwhelming majority are mentally unfit to possess firearms themselves.

In the end thats whats scares them.

That there are people out there who have the mental fortitude to protect themselves and not crumble at the first sign of adversity.

Yet its OK to hire them for protection of their august personages.

WOW....Just reading the comments at the bottom of that article, there are a lot of ignorant people living there. I find it so funny that everyone is all about passing so many laws, like the criminals are going to follow them. It just adds to the list of laws they are breaking.

Wow, I can't wait to move away from the Northeast! I live in Delaware and our "wonderful" local lawmakers are basically following suit with NY. EXCEPT, they are proposing limiting the legal amount a Mag can hold down to 5 rounds! Idiots to say the least.

In some of the larger cities, this is actually the practice. Jersey City, for example, requires a shrink's signoff for an FID card (to buy long guns).

I can develop written test questions for the mental health evaluation she wants to implement. I don't think she would like the questions or pass the test.
