Same quality, different niches / focal points.

If you can only get one, get the Noveske for the standardization of the system (plus the N4 isn't banned by name, unlike the SR-15 in some states).

If you already have an AR and just want a unique, robust platform to add to your collection, KAC all the way.

Noveske just to support the company during these trying times.
RIP John

^This from an operational standpoint.

If you are looking just for something different then noveske is a good type of diffrrent than kac.

Otherwise kac.

I don't have a KAC, but love my Noveske.

If you already have KAC, branch out a little bit.

I'd have to say everyone of the reasons above me are great.

Get a Project Ares (http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=2890) and scratch both itches.

If you call Lawmen's Shooters Supply, you can get on the waiting list for an SR-15, at pre-craziness pricing. Supposed to be a 30-60 day wait. Not too bad for this market, considering the quality of rifle you'll get.

This, times a hundred, for any of their items.

Absolutely agree with this.

On the flip side, this is like trying to choose between Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba. You really can't go wrong.

It's a good thing to dream. When we wake up everything will be normal again. You can get a Noveske if you shop hard on Gunbroker for $5000

Once the crazyness stops I would suggest a Noveske.

Their rifles are dead nuts reliable and eat any thing I feed them. The Noveske rifles use standard parts which is great for long term and preventative maintenance.

Also in those few times I have had to use their CS they have been amazing. Joel has gone out of his way to answer my stupid questions and help me with any thing.

i can't comment on kac personally, but noveske has excellent customer service and things you would expect for the price, such as the excellent accuracy, chf barrel, and the double thickness chrome lining/m249 steel (which a lot of people say "who cares?) like mentioned, though, non proprietary, and you already have some kac rifles.

I prefer Noveske rifles and I will continue to chose Noveske in order to keep John's legacy alive. If there was ever a man who deserves our support in his passing, it's John Noveske.

I've had 2 Noveske rifles and 5 KAC SR15's.....BOTH ARE GREAT!
Buy them both and make yourself really happy...

My go to rifle is a Noveske Upper and a KAC lower.

I really like the Noveske barrels accuracy. I appreciate Knights ambi lower. Combine the two and you have the best of both in my opinion.

Why not both?

Noveske simply because of the parts interchangeability.

I have a Noveske Rifle; accurate as hell, and great customer service. That being said, I would love a KAC short barreled rifle.

Noveske! Both have great QC, but I prefer the look/design of the Noveske rifles by far. Also, Sheri...enough said :)
