Unless they found some kurz rounds they're SOL. If the guns are in operating condition.

It's a total shame that these rifles probably won't be salvaged and saved for guys who would actually appreciate just how important and influential the STG44 is.

I did get a chance to shoot the .22 version. Very well made and has a heft to it that must mimic the real thing.

Ammo was being made even into the 60's by East Germany and sent to Middle East countries so it is possible they have it.

Prvi Partizan makes it and they probably have it warehouses.

And if we ever managed to get rid of the sporter clause within the 68 GCA those guns would make nice cheap imports.

Probably go for no more than $800 plus stamp.

The FFL I always use has Prvi Kurz ammo in stock (or at least he did a couple weeks ago).

I'm not sure why he stocks it, maybe there's one or two people in the area that have a Stg44, or maybe he sells it online.

Forget it. From what I was told that is going to be revisited soon and there are going to be more restrictions put into place.

I would be up for a couple at that price;)
The last 2 transferable ones I saw sold for about 17K each
