Smith Vortex Installation Question

Hey guys! I just got a Smith Vortex and I want to remove my A2 and install the Smith. From what information I've gathered, the Smith is intended to be installed without a crush/peel washer and is only meant to be tightened to 5-10 ft-lbs. This might be a dumb question, but should I use red Loc-Tite or anything like that on the threads? I know the Smith is designed to self-tighten as it shoots, but does this negate the need for Loc-Tite? Also, is there anything I should be aware of when removing the A2? Thanks in advance!

You should not use Loctite. That would keep it from tightening. It will self-tighten.
