He does mention AK-47's, even throws in a good joke regarding them. I think it is definitely something everyone should see.

1. That guy should be making that same speech before Congress.

2. This guy is a better American than many who were born here.

3. Damn shame he had to suffer such hardships to understand the true nature of rights and freedom.

Perhaps we need an exchange program where we trade US citizens who want to ban guns for for Chinese citizens who wish to be free.

As a first generation American, it never ceases to amaze me how Americans readily give up their freedoms.

Very encouraging, especially after all the bs that was shoved down our throats today.

Been spreading this one around all day. Took place at the State House Boston, which I would have attended if i were in the US when it took place recently.

THE best thing any of us can do to help him, thus helping ourselves, is get that vid under the nose of as many people as you can. I rarely post such things on my face book page, or do mail outs, etc, but I'm making an exception for this one.

If a mod would move this thread, that would be great. Obviously, I could not start it in GD, but wanted to bring it to the forum's attention.

Escapee from China here, glad to see at least one more Chinese person refuse to drink the statist kool-aid.

An interesting sidenote from 1989 is that the first local Beijing garrison units shipped in by the politburo to quell the unrest refused to use violence against the civilians because they were all Beijing locals. The politburo had to ship in army units from remote provinces to do the dirty work.

I hope the same can be said about local LEO/army who would refuse to obey immoral orders, but given what happened at Katrina, I am not entirely optimistic.

This week, I asked five people less than 30 years old (who I see daily) if they had knew what happened at Tienanmen Square. Only 1 of the 5 knew what I was talking about. :(

I grew up in Romania. I'm in Canada for twelve years. I know very well what dictatorship is all about. I was eighteen during our revolution. When the army brought boxes of rifles and distributed to people, I knew Ceausescu is a dead duck.
When I see you all, Americans, just talk about this things going on in US, and do so little about it, it breaks my heart. :cray:
Since this new push for gun control, there should have been five milion people in front of the White House and Congress every Sunday, telling them to F'off.
It feels like you had it good for so many years, that you take everything for granted. Rights, good life, cheap and plentiful food and so on. You trust the government to do whatever they want.
I've seen with my own eyes what it means to have people in power that don't care about, or fear the people.
You are losing your rights every day and seems like you can't be bothered to care about it. :cray:
The longer this goes on, the stronger the others get and a lot more blood and sweat will be needed to fix it.:(

I'm sory if I come rather harsh, but this is the opinion of someone that has lived the socialist nightmare.
USA is still the only country out there, where you still legally have the rights of the individual stronger than the will of the people in power.
Don't let them take your rights.

There are far too many sheeple, but don't count us out just yet. We took care of things after '94 and that lesson has not yet been forgotten by those that depend on elections.
