Walther PPQ stippled by Cold Bore Customs

Just got my Walther PPQ back from Lane Owens at Cold Bore Custom. I've had him stipple my G19 in the past and I still love the work he did on that, so I figured he'd be the perfect guy to send my PPQ to.
I basically just asked him to follow the same lines/pattern as it came from the factory, and just to apply a carry texture, which is his name for a treatment that gives you more grip, without being overly aggressive as to abrade your skin/clothes when carrying. It came out perfect! The look is OEM-like in my opinion, and the feel is just right. Definitely more traction than how it came from the factory, but respectful of the factory aesthetics.
Turnaround time is about a week as well!
Lane is a great guy to go to for great service and outstanding work when it comes to polymer texturing. Can't recommend him enough!

Nicely done!

I've had a few pistols done by Lane at CBC and I've always liked his work. I have a RTF2 17 frame there now getting a few minor mods done. (Chopped, Speedwell, Mag Recess, Texture Forward Frame Flats) Can't wait to get it back!

Looks good. I opened this thread after seeing "Walther PPQ stippled" expecting to see the typical soldering iron abortion people come up with. Then I noticed Cold Bore in the title. They seem to do good work.
