Hadn't heard of them. I'm currently using Glockmeister rods and ISMI springs but I might try these. They look like they are good quality and well thought out!!

We have three of the the tools in our shop to change springs on the M&P every 5000. Beats buying the whole assembly, I just buy springs. Well made and effective tool. I cannot speak to the guide rod itself.

I use Lightning Strike on all of my Glocks, never had an issue of "snaking" or the hex screw loosening. It's just another part to fix something that is only a concern for a small number of end users. I'd try one out, but wouldn't pay a premium to do so.

I have one of his rods for each of my 7 Glocks. Good product and good guy that sells them.

His M&P spring tool is genius. I use ISMI springs and the tool makes life easy!

Also a good guy.

I bought one last year, the owner is a stand up guy.
Expensive, yes but I think the quality of the product is top notch.

I have almost 5k on a BT guide rod (S&W M&P). My only complaint was the end screw would work it self loose after 50 rounds or so. A drop of blue loctite fixed it.

BT's owner is a good guy.

He's helped me out on many occasion. He is a top tier machinist and machines his own parts, so you know it is done 100% in America and done RIGHT.

I use his uncaptured, captured, etc. guiderods and parts.

They are machined perfectly and top-end.

Because he is the sole QC operator, his stuff is perfect and not mass-produced. If you order from him, let him know blueorison sent you.

Ok, I got the 2 for my G22 and G23 with the tool kit. They are as advertised! VERY easy to lock into the tools and the spring compressor makes things effortless! The went in great and shot great today in both guns! I've ordered more! I think he's making a great product so far!

Yea I got one for my 3rd gen G34 and like it alot. Makes changing the spring a snap. The big plus is the owner is a great guy to deal with. I highly recommend BT guide rods to anyone looking for a quality guide rod...you can't go wrong.

I have to add a big Thumbs Up for Bill and BT Guide Rods.
I ran one of his rods in my Steyr M9A1 and have one in my PPS.

Excellent quality and superb service/support!

I have his guide rod and firing pin guide for my Steyr. Works as advertised.

I do not have any of his Glock stuff, but like most have said, it all looks top notch.

I use his product in a Ruger LCP. It's performed as intended for 1400 rds. I talked with him once on the phone and observed that he was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and generous with his time.

I bought a stainless model to replace the cheap plastic guide rod in my PPQ as well. It has functioned 100% and I agree the owner is a stand up guy.

I won't carry a pistol with a plastic guide rod.

How come?

How come?

Because I don't trust them. Regardless of the documented failure rate, or not, I don't trust them.

My HK pistols (that have guide rods) are all steel and I trust HK's engineers understand where to use plastic and where not to use plastic.

That's cool, I guess. I was just curious.
