The short version: I bought a Tac 4.15 in .45 from Brazos in 2007. Had trigger & reliability work, night sights, other upgrades. I carried it and put about 4,000 rounds (very conservatively; more likely around 3,000) through it so it looks carried but shoots perfect. I've now fallen out of love with the .45 ACP, so, as would be true if I divorced my own wife, my loss can be your gain. Details below.
Terms: I will sell the whole shebang for $2,100 (NOW $1,700) plus actual shipping costs or FTF in SE FL. I will consider selling the gun and one 126mm mag for $1,600 (NOW $1,400)/same shipping terms, or other combo's/parting out, so make offers.
The gun: STI Tactical 4.15 in .45 ACP. New, that's $1850+ by the time it gets to your door. This gun shows wear and has a tiny bit of rust beneath the rear sight. The rust has not changed since I first saw it when new sights were installed in '09. Original STI magwell included.
The work: Brazos High Performance Package with a 4lb trigger. In '09, Shooter's Depot in Tampa installed a gunsmith blank trigger (slightly shortened), polished feedramps, installed new extractor & ejector, replaced ambi safety with a single safety, and installed 2-dot Trijicon fixed tritium sights which are still bright. (Millennium Custom may have actually done the work.) That's at least $400 worth of work.
Mags: 2x 126mm (11 +1). (Other mags are sold.)
Leather: Tucker Gunleather "Texas Heritage" IWB. Righty, smooth out, 1.5 inch belt hooks. Tucker IWB mag pouch, barely used. The Texas Heritage is the best leather IWB I've ever owned. The two would be $140 new.
Kydex: Blade-Tech Tactical Light (TLR-1) with Stingray Loop. Kytac "Sooper Hooper II" (very nice-fitting OWB for 1.5 inch), "Braveheart" (IWB, not a fan), pocket mag holster and 2x OWB mag holders. All Kytac for 1.5-inch belt, and all hold very steady on a decent 1.5 gun belt.
