Good looking weapon.. only thing I'd change would be the position of the front sight.

Slide it to the read and mount your WML (flashlight) forward of the sight.

If you don't want to give up sight radius then move the light to the 9 o'clock rail. (if your right handed. If left handed move it to the 3o'clock position)

I was thinking the exact same thing man. But was unsure if that was wise to give up total sight radius.

I think I'd rather move it to 9' o clock. Just need to stop by the LGS and buy a strip of Wilson Pic rail..

Thanks for the compliment!

Sight radius on backup sights would be secondary. You have the Aimpoint, which will probably never fail anyway. I'd save the money/weight and just put the light in front of the sight. You maintain an AMBI setup that way too.

Very good point! I'll make the change tonight

Well I made the change tonight per your recommendations. I really feel this was a huge enhancement to the function of the weapon system. Having the light behind the front sight significantly blocked the beam, and with the from sight deployed, the light was useless.

First thing I noticed was thumb over bore placement...almost perfect. I know barely see my thumb in my sight picture...so I just backed up the front sight a few spots on the rail and made way for my thumb...now it fits like a glove!

Now I just gotta get busy with the 2,600 pcs of brass I picked up last night and make "training" ammo for the year to add to my existing stock.

This years goal is to obtain as much ammo as financially feasible, and train as hard as possible.

I have new paradigm shift in defensive weapons. I plan to only own a few Top Quality weapons...a basic 3 gun system. A fighting Police Magnum 870, my above build of course, and a Glock 26. I'd rather own and train with these 3 and have 5,000+ rounds on hand at any given time...than little ammo and a bunch of "questionable quality" weapons.
