ADM Recon, 8 vs 10 screw.

I just bought an ADM Recon mount for my 1-4 Leupold VX-R Patrol. When I got the mount it had 8 screws instead of the usual 10 that I see. When I look at mounts from different distributors they are 3 on top and two on bottom for both rings. This one is 2 on top and bottom. Is this an older style mount, or did ADM ditch the extra two screws? I don't think It will effect performance especially with red LT on there. If it is an older model, it is just frustrating to get it sold to me as new. Why did ADM make the change?

ADM has moved to 8 bolt from 10 bolt in newer mounts. I contacted them to ensure I received a real mount and was assured It was and that the "missing" bolts were by design.
