Much nicer than the Nagant IMO. The Enfield's are nice and the .303 is plentiful right now.

Awesome, thanks everyone for all the help. I think I'm gonna pick this up tomorrow, depending on the blizzard we are suppose to have.

No. 4 Mk1 Lee-Enfield.

Check the bore for rust before you buy. A lot of corrosive .303 ammo was sold here a few years back and not everyone got the word about how to clean up afterwards. In bad cases it can render the rifle useless.

I love the enfields. Mine works so quickly. That one is purty. Hit the local gun shows for ammo. Very plentiful.

It's a No. 4 Lee Enfield. Later WW2 era model. Chambered for .303 which isn't as cheap as it used to be unfortunately. That one you posted a pic of is very nice looking, beautiful stock.

Oh man, that looks like my Dad's old Enfield... I still remember him taking me out to shoot it when I was SMALL. It scared the crap out of me. I was scared to shoot it again until I was a young teenager.

They're awesome guns, though, aren't they? I know someone who rechambered one for 7.62x54 b/c of the scarcity of .303 and it actually runs great. Before anyone rages, it was an ex-beater that he'd already refinished so authenticity was already lost.
