I've watched a few vids and an officer says that a total of 8 pistols were tested but never noted the others?
Anyone know and the source?

There were eight manufacturers in the trials according to Glock:
The selection process for replacing the Ministry's previous guns was stringent. The trials for eight of the leading pistol manufacturers in 2011 consisted of a human factors integration test, nine months of scientific evaluation and a coinciding nine months of environmental trials under different climatic conditions.
Since Browning 9mm was what they had before, I suspect Browning was in the run. According to a post on a British blog I ran across, SIG has been used by UKSF for some time.
So Browning, SIG, Glock and then possibly HK, Beretta, S&W, CZ and S.A.?
