In Hilton Yam's review of the SW1911E he commented that he swapped out the full length guide rod for a short Ed Brown guide rod. Will someone please tell me what Ed Brown guide rod he is referring to as I dont see anything on http://www.edbrown.com/cgi/htmlos.cgi/00266.4.561082443570531134 that mentions or lists a "short" guide rod.
He is most likely referring to the standard length guide rod, EB PN 882-STD for a 5" Gov't Model.
Can you add a link to the article so I can see exactly what he is saying?
Okay, I found the article. He is referring to a standard GI length guide rod.
