Im looking to build a very accurate target gun.

Thinking about a 17HMR?

Bull Barrel(possibly carbon fiber)

Trigger job

Custom stock(light weight)

Good Scope


Looking for ideas on everything.
Best for the money on EVERYTHING

Also would like to know is it better to build from scratch or start with a stock rifle and upgrade, if so which stock rifle is best?

Are you looking to build/buy an AR-15 chambered for .17HMR or a bolt gun?

Need to be a tad more specific in your info request.

BTW.. the ONLY .17HMR uppers that I know of being built are by Alexander Arms.

Not an AR a target rifle.....similar to ruger 10/22 but chambered in 17...am i posting in the wrong category?
