M&P 45 midsize to 9mm conversion possible?

Ok we all know that the 40's can be converted to 9 but what's stopping the 45 midsize from being converted? I've been waiting forever for s&w to just make a damn 9mm midsize but it's looking like that will never happen?

The .45 Midsize is almost the exact same size as the 9mm Fullsize, so problem solved.

Honestly, the almost identical size is one of the few reasons I feel anyone should ever buy the Midsize over the Compact or Fullsize counterparts when picking an M&P45. The .45 Midsize just doesn't make much sense to me.
