Bushnell HOLOsight

I just purchased a Bushnell HOLOsight #510021. Are there any pros or cons to this devise
My understanding is is made by EOTech HOLOgraphic due to my stigmatism in my left eye it looks like a blur inside the house but outdoors it looks clear. I hope I made a good judgment on a budget

You are correct. The HOLOsight is made by EOtech. The difference is that the Bushnell is not as rugged as the EOtech. It's not made to take the beating of being in battle. You'll notice the the EOtech has a protective aluminum hood and the controls are more rugged and robust. If you are mainly using it for home defense and the range, it will be perfectly fine. I purchased one only because I got a fantastic deal and just couldn't say no. The HOLOsight has been and is still being used by some in open class pistol competition. The only thing that I don't like about it, is that it uses "N" type batteries instead of the popular "AA" batteries. My HOLOsight serves me fine for my purpose.

P.S. keep some spare batteries around.
