FN Police Patrol rifle trigger?

toying with the idea of one of these, I have only checked one out and lived everything but the trigger... seemed a bit rough and a tad heavy

I am used to Tikkas and Sakos and they are easy to set to a nice 2lb crisp trigger with no takeup, grit or anything..

I have an FN PBR XP and the trigger is excellent and on par with my Tikka and a friend's Tikka Varmiter.

I prefer the FN to the Tikka.

I own both a PBR and a SPR A3G. The trigger on both of them started out life a little heavy. You have two choices to work with. Shoot them a lot and learn to handle it or have a good gunsmith drop them down around 2 1/2. Either way they are good rifles.
