Weighing Factory Cartidges

I've often heard that weighing factory cartridges, and grouping them its a good way to improve accuracy. Any Truth to that? Anyone practice that as part of a rutine? What kind of improvements do you see?

I don't think you'd see anything beneficial. Buy good ammo, and you won't have to worry about it.

I don't think you can count on the weight difference between cartridges to give you a true indication of differences in either projectile weight or charge weight with factory ammunition. If you broke down the cartridges into separate components you will find that the weight of the brass varies to some degree.

Like Orkan said, purchase good factory ammunition and you won't have to worry about it.
