Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to put a question out for discussion:

If you were limited by law to a 10 round maximum capacity in a pistol magazine, which modern pistol would you choose and why? I am not interested in a 1911, but I am curious if it is worthwhile getting a full sized modern pistol like an M&P or if there is something else you all would suggest?

This will be a buy once, cry once kind of purchase due to the magazine restrictions that are being put in place in my state on April 15th.

Any time you can spend on this subject would be appreciated.

Thanks

I am considering going to a 4 inch barrel 1911. If they limit me to 10 then I'll go to a slim profile gun.

However I read something today, I'll post the link when i get to my computer, that a lawyer suggests that mag limits might be unconstitutional. This guy suggested that it's tantamount to limiting books to 7 pages or print magazines like Hot Rod or something to 10 pages. Interesting argument.

Oh, this has been done....

In which state do you live that has instituted the 10 rd rule? I am overseas and out of the loop as to what individual states are doing. I am finding it hard enough to keep up with what the federal government is doing!

The same pistol I am carrying now even though I am not limited to a 10 round limit - an HK P7 PSP.
