This is a last minute plea, but Kris Koenig is running a "finishing fundraiser" to complete his pro Second Amendment documentary. Kris Koenig is an Emmy award-winning scientific documentary maker. There is just over 24 hours left to make the Kickstarter funding goal and it looks like it'll come shy at current fundraising rates.

If anyone is interested in participating in funding a documentary that'll be a force multiplier to educate fence-sitting Americans into understanding the importance of the Second Amendment, this is it. Given the political climate, there is no logical reason not to invest in this because it'll be an asset that'll be around for decades until someone else, if ever, makes another pro Second Amendment documentary.

Kris has burnt every single liberal connection and bridge in the film-making industry to secure PBS air-time and limited theater release. He has effectively killed his own career to put out something that goes against the grain of Hollyweird.

For all the folks that always bitch and whine about the lack of a good documentary out there that shows the Second Amendment in an unbiased manner, this is your chance. For the cost of a box or two of ammo, you can purchase various copies of the film and distribute it to friends, family, or anti's.

Here is the link to the project. We're still over $10,000 short of the goal when I would hope the current political climate would push him well over $100k at this point.

Were is the NRA with this if it such a good thing for 2A rights?

$10,000 is snack money for the NRA as the 100,000 film budget is nothing more then penny change for them.

Too biased. It'd be like a health care documentary funded by Obama.

The director is trying to maintain neutrality by going the grassroots method. The guy has a background as a scientific documentary maker and doesn't want to impart bias to the project. By keeping it neutral, the anti's can't dismiss it as "NRA propaganda".

It's only a shame that this second fundraiser is even slower than the first. I would have thought folks would be jumping on this after Obama paraded around the victims of Sandy Hook to push his anti-gun propaganda.

So the NRA supports something Pro-2A, I see nothing wrong with it as long as they allow the film to tell the tale and have no direct input on direction or edit.
