A security guard uses an AR-15 to foil a robbery attempt. There is a video in the link. Damn everything happens so quickly!

Looked like an AR pistol. Good on the guard for reacting.

It speaks volumes that the tax preparation office has to have an armed guard with a PC and an AR pistol, I'd hate to see the local check cashing hovel.

I'm guessing we won't see this one on the news anytime soon...

No, not nice at all. Even the police station is not immune to the occasional drive-by shooting.

Shame he didn't take both of them out. Would have been two less people for all the other hard working people in that community to worry about.

At first I thought he just slipped but I watched it again and he falls because he got hit just before. Crazy. I am surprised he missed the guy. Imagine if the guard wasn't armed, it would be a completly different story we would be reading.

i dont want to be a negative nancy, but there were so many tacticle mistakes in this situation i dont know where to start,

-the "office door" was left open to any person who wanted to walk in.
-the security guard was not paying attention (ooda FAIL)
-because of the ooda failure the guard was wounded and failed to wound either of his attackers.
-the rest of the staff was obviously untrained and unprepaired for a potential robery.

How a leftist would see this: We need to ban guns, they're dangerous. See this dangerous situation. It could have been avoided if the people in the building weren't armed and just gave the criminals whatever they wanted.

You're not going to win many hearts & minds with logic or evidence when those minds are corrupted and brainwashed.

I saw the footage on the news. Did I see a US Palm body armor on the guard? It sure looked like it to me.

More training necessary.
