i have a catalyst and it functions perfectly, much better than the factory release,, i spoke with stephen of 21st century gunfighter said more will be out soon

Now, as he says on the video, it will work for all M&P's--does that include the Shield or no?

They do what they are intended to do. I haven't had any issues with mine. Ive put near a 1000 rounds through my M&P the past month with no issues other than 1 mag that fails to feed properly.
